How do I book a newborn or birth session if I don't know when they arrive yet? 

ALL NEWBORN Sessions are booked on our calendar as TBD under your baby's Due Date to insure our availability before and after potential birth windows. When baby comes, remind your partner, parent or friend to email me within 48 hours, especially if over 2 weeks early. I"ll respond with upcoming date options according to your wishes, so we  can choose an ideal date and time for all. Usually 10:30am on weekdays.

How does payment work? How do I secure my session?

We send you a link that has it all there for you! After we choose a session type (studio baby or studio baby plus family OR in-home lifestyle), and you understand the tentative date is the due date, and it is not your date, just my reminder to look for your email, and not to save a placeholder on my work schedule. From there, I will have all the info I need, I will create a custom booking link for you! It will give your session it's own portal, that we can both reference or even add notes to! Here, you will answer a short questionnaire to help me gather or source newborn props and create our workflow according to your family and the location, age, siblings, etc.  Lastly, you'll secure your booking finally with a 50%  non-refundable payment due to book per session. This holds your place in my calendar!

(Same for combo sessions. Then, each remaining balance is not due until the day before out session. You will receive automatic notifications via email with your link to pay your remainder later.  So two first for bump to baby combo for example, is 50% then remaining 50% of each session in that combo will be due the date of that session. That will be 25% of the total amount of your combo.

When is the best time for newborn sessions? 

Studio Newborns ideally take place 4-14 days after birth. Newborn In-Home Lifestyle Sessions require less heavy posing, and are snuggling, so a more mature baby will not affect the date booked, but 1-4 weeks after birth is recommended, earlier especially if you want those studio-like images in your home. (I bring all the swaddles, props and baby accessories for you, so you can have the best of both worlds, even in the comfort of your home.  At day 15, typically newborns will shed, develop baby acne, and have longer awake periods. A sleepy baby is a happy one, so the newer, the better. Trust your gut though, we can wait if it's better for your family. Elderly newborns after 5 weeks old will be recommended to do the Lifestyle In- Home Session. Don't want to clean? I know just the bedroom/home-like studio for you! Don't want to do your hair or makeup? I have wonderful HAMU artists to recommend, they will come straight to your home bathroom, mama!  with option to purchase 5 additional images for $125, 10 additional for $195, or up to 30 additional images for $350, or a la carte individual images for $35 per image. Print release.

50% Deposit of package booking fee is due at booking, non-refundable.
